Tilcia Pilates Studio in Pacific Beach has been serving local clients since 2005. Clients range from pre-and post-rehabilitation injuries to “active agers,” including surfers seeking to keep up and surpass the crowds in the line-up.
“What makes us different is that Tilcia Studios is a comprehensive Pilates and CoreAlign studio offering a private boutique-sized setting, and this works for people who want one-on-one instruction,” said Lizbeth Garcia, owner of the studio at 4655 Cass St. “We design the workout specifically for your individual health and fitness needs and goals.
“We have clients who maintain progressive strength and flexibility workout with our Pilates and CoreAlign specialized exercise equipment. But we also work with pre-surgery and post-surgery clients who need an in-between exercise program after physical therapy and before going back to the gym.”
The Pilates Method was created by Joseph H. In 2007, ‘Tilcia’ was established as the Authorized Training Center ATC in San Diego for Balanced Body Education, offering Pilates Comprehensive Education and more.
“I have been able to grow as one of the few bilingual professional educators as a master instructor for all their programming, which includes Anatomy in Three Dimensions, CoreAlign, Balanced Body Barre, MOTR, Bohdi, and Pilates in both English and Spanish,” said Lizbeth.
The Pilates master trainer is also proud of the accomplishments of her pupils.
